Vmemoo is designed for remembrance, dignity and genuine human connection. These Guidelines apply to profiles, memorials, photographs, videos, biographies, Prayers, comments, reactions, tags, usernames and communications with Vmemoo.
Respect and authenticity
- Create memorials only for a genuine memorial purpose. Do not fabricate a death, impersonate a relative, or use a memorial to ridicule or punish a living person.
- Distinguish personal recollection, belief and tribute from verified fact. Do not publish serious accusations or private family disputes as settled truth.
- Do not exploit grief, pressure families, manipulate reactions or misrepresent fundraising or charitable activity.
Content that is not permitted
- Threats, targeted harassment, bullying, stalking, doxxing, coordinated abuse or celebration of real-world harm. Hateful conduct attacking people based on protected characteristics, including race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or comparable protected status.
- Sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual content involving minors, grooming or facilitation of abuse.
- Graphic depictions of death, severe injury or cruelty presented without a legitimate documentary or memorial context; shock content is prohibited.
- Instructions encouraging suicide or self-harm, or content targeting a vulnerable person. Supportive discussion may be allowed with safety controls.
- Fraud, scams, spam, malicious links, regulated goods, criminal facilitation or extremist praise/recruitment.
- Privacy-invasive material, identity documents, private medical or financial data, precise home location or private communications without authority.
- Copyright infringement, impersonation, trademark misuse or unauthorised commercial exploitation.
Memorials involving children
Only adults may hold accounts. Content depicting a person under 18 must be appropriate, necessary for the memorial purpose and posted with lawful authority. Never reveal a child's precise address, school routine, contact details, identity documents, private medical information or sexualised imagery. Vmemoo may prioritise the child's safety and privacy over continued publication.
Reporting and enforcement
Use the Report action on the relevant content or account. For urgent danger, contact emergency services first. Vmemoo may remove content, restrict visibility or interactions, preserve evidence, issue a warning, suspend or terminate accounts, or refer unlawful material. Decisions consider severity, context, public interest, memorial value, intent, history and risk. Users may appeal through info@vmemoo.com. Retaliation against reporters is prohibited.
