Before uploading
Owning a physical photograph, appearing in it, or being related to its subject does not necessarily mean you own its copyright. Upload only material you created, licensed, are legally permitted to use, or reasonably believe is covered by an applicable exception after considering its limits.
Copyright complaints
A rights holder or authorised agent may send a notice to copyright@gmail.com identifying: the copyrighted work; the exact Vmemoo location of the challenged material; contact details; a good-faith statement that use is unauthorised; a statement that the notice is accurate and the sender is authorised; and a physical or electronic signature. Vmemoo may request missing information and may forward the notice to the uploader.
US DMCA procedure
For a United States copyright notice, the notice must identify the copyrighted work (or a representative list), identify the material to be removed with information reasonably sufficient to locate it, provide the complainant's contact details, include statements of good-faith belief and accuracy/authority under penalty of perjury, and contain a physical or electronic signature. Notices may be sent to copyright@gmail.com.
An affected uploader may send a counter-notice to copyright@gmail.com identifying the removed material and its former location, stating under penalty of perjury a good-faith belief that removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, providing name, address and telephone number, consenting to the jurisdiction required by 17 U.S.C. section 512(g), accepting service of process from the claimant, and signing the notice. Where applicable, Vmemoo may restore the material no sooner than 10 and no later than 14 business days after forwarding a valid counter-notice unless the claimant provides notice of a court action. Vmemoo may terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. The copyright inbox is the operational contact; any separately registered DMCA designated-agent details published in the US Copyright Office directory control for formal US notices.
Other rights
Trademark, impersonation, privacy, publicity and database-right complaints may be sent to info@vmemoo.com. Provide the relevant registration or basis of rights, location, explanation and requested remedy. Knowingly false notices may create liability.
