What these technologies are

The Vmemoo website may use cookies and browser storage. The mobile app may use secure local storage, device identifiers, software development kits ("SDKs") and push tokens. These technologies can authenticate sessions, remember preferences, prevent abuse, diagnose faults and measure use.

Current proposed categories

  • Authentication/session state, security, load balancing: Strictly necessary and fraud prevention. These cannot normally be disabled without losing core functionality.
  • Preferences: Theme, language and user-selected settings.
  • Crash and performance data: Needed to identify faults; diagnostics configure to minimise identifiers.
  • Aggregated or pseudonymous product events: Used to improve features. Non-essential analytics require consent where applicable.
  • Not used in the current proposed product: Do not add advertising SDKs without updating this Notice, consent controls and store disclosures.

Your controls

Where consent is required, non-essential technologies will remain off until you make an affirmative choice. You may change the choice through Settings > Privacy > Cookie & SDK Settings. Browser and operating-system controls may also limit technologies, although blocking necessary storage may prevent login. Withdrawing consent does not affect prior lawful processing.

Technology register

The website uses necessary session and security storage, preference storage, and consent records. The mobile app uses secure authentication storage, device/app identifiers required for security, and push tokens only after notification permission. Expo, Apple and Google SDKs may process device, delivery, purchase and diagnostic data for the functions described in the Privacy Policy. Necessary technologies last for the session or the period required to maintain security and account state; preferences remain until changed or cleared; push tokens remain until replaced, invalidated or the account is deleted; diagnostic events are retained for up to 12 months. Non-essential analytics remain disabled until affirmative consent where required. Vmemoo does not use advertising SDKs or cross-context behavioural advertising at the effective date.
